Help needed!

I need help with the following. I will try to look for them myself. Only if someone has some time and also the knowledge, I am trying to figure out the following:

- How to edit previous posts
- How get dates to show on comments
- How to change the time and for once and all according to my time zone
- How to get my profile to show on the top of the page, instead of at the bottom
- How to edit the links and add the links to people'd blogs that are my favourite.

I know the list is long and yes! I am comp illiterate :~
It'll be really kind, if someone could gimme a little heads up on this stuff.

Thanks in advance :)

p.s.// Best of all, if someone can tell me where to look WHENEVER I need to know something...

A nice introduction to some of the gurudwaras in toronto sikhi seeker - you sure have spent time and effort bringing these to us!

- to edit posts simply log in, click on your blog name from the 'dashboard' and you'll see all your posts listed, with a big 'edit' button against each. Don't forget to post again after you've edited. Make sure the ' Show Quick Editing on your Blog?' is set to yes.

by the way, when you edit your posts you will have an option to delete comments. So if you you want to remove spam comments click on the dustbin icon below the comment and choose the 'delete forever' option.

sikhi seeker ji I apologise for misleading you, I just checked and realised that the dustbin icon appears when you click on the comments button, when you are viewing the comments.

If you are the owner of the blog and are logged in you will be able to delete comments.

I've just turned on 'word verification' on my blog to cut down spam comments. It's under the comments tab in the settings menu.

Hello Bhen ji.

To change the links that show

Links

* Google News
* Edit-Me
* Edit-Me

By default

you will have to do the following:

1. From your dashboard area click on the blog you want to edit i.e. 'Enlighten Me'

2. Click on the 'Template' tab at the top of the page.

3. The textbox shows the template for all your pages.

4. Scroll the box and look for the words Google. (on mine the links are near the bottom of the textbox).

There will be three links on your template.

One with the words 'google news' in it and two that say 'edit me'.

5. Now change the "http://news.google.com/" to the link of the site you want to link.

and

change the 'google news' to the text you want to display on your blog.

6. Save it

I hope this helps.

BTW if you want to find out about any just look in SGGS Ji ;-)))
